This Week in LA Beer: Coffee Beers + Donuts (Feb 17th – Feb 23rd)
Welcome to This Week in LA Beer, a bite-sized look at some of the things we think are worth paying attention to this week around the Los Angeles craft beer community.
Mission Valley Craft Beer & Food Festival.
Amazing beer. Amazing spirits. Amazing food. With bacon in it.
That’s The Mission Valley Craft Beer & Food Festival in a nutshell. Pair that with a location in one of the nicest cities in the country and you have yourself a must-attend event.
It’s all going down Saturday, February 29th from 12-4pm at San Diego County Credit Union Stadium.
The brewery list is fantastic and we highly recommend making it a quick day trip from LA on the train or turning it into a San Diego weekend beer getaway.

Our release of the week.
As you know, our full Release Radar goes out on Fridays but on Tuesdays we like to give you a little sneak peek into one release that we’re really excited for.
This week, we have a double release – Apricot and Boysenberry fruited version of Funk Yeah by Beachwood Blendery. This is their traditional gueuze-inspired blend with one-, two-, and three-year-old barrels. Basically, it’s a special beer with some awesome fruit additions. Make sure you grab yourself some bottles.
