Craft Beer Events in Los Angeles

The Meltdown 2020 at El Segundo Brewing Co

Once a year, our brewers brew a beer so powerful, it overloads the core fermenters, causing a hop reaction of atomic proportions. The material it produces is a triple IPA worthy of the name POWER PLANT. And due to the overwhelming amount of hops we use, it’s only fitting that this annual event be called “The Meltdown.”

And thanks to the success of the hazy we brewed for last year’s Meltdown, Radioactive Fallout, we’re brewing it again…and this year we’re canning it! Sick can art is done by renowned surf artist Rick Rietveld! More on that below.

Now it’d be irresponsible of us to hold an event like this and not have food, so of course, the Mayberry Grill will be up and running, selling tacos to help you wash all that IPA down. Chef Matt (The Slice & Pint) is busy working on a couple of specialty tacos for the occasion.

You can pre-order Power Plant, Radioactive Fallout, Meltdown glasses and Radioactive Fallout posters here-
