2017 Special Event Series – Event #2
Sunday June 25th 2pm-5pm Piper Corbett from Propolis Brewing in Port Townsend, WA will be our guest in the tasting room showcasing (4) of their outstanding ales.
Those of you who know us know we only host events when we have something unique to share.
In a sea of 5000 US breweries, Propolis Brewing is definitely one that stands out. From the brewer “Our sole intent is to produce high-quality handcrafted herbal ales inspired by old world tradition, local resources and the rhythms of nature. We are primarily inspired by the farmhouse tradition of France and Belgium, as well as old world Ales. We are artists and scientists at heart, and we aspire to challenge the norm.”
Adding to the event, we are bringing in a selection of cheeses from Mt. Townsend Creamery ( also from Port Townsend, WA). A self-guided cheese pairing, you tell us which cheese you prefer with each beer. We’ll collect the votes and post the results.
There will be (4) Propolis beers served one at a time, making this a self-paced tasting experience more conducive to Sunday afternoon mingling.
We’re very appreciative that Piper chose our neighborhood shop for a stop-off before flying home to Washington. We hope you’ll come out for this special occasion to show her how much Stateside friends and family appreciate their pushing of boundaries and their dedication to the craft.
