The Los Angeles Brewery Medal Winners from the 2021 California Craft Brewers Cup

The second California Craft Brewers Cup awards ceremony was held on Friday, August 27th and we’re stoked that twenty-three awesome Los Angeles brewers are taking home medals this year!

The 2021 California Craft Brewers Cup was presented by The Sacramento Area Brewers Guild, in partnership with the California Craft Brewers Association as a showcase of the best craft beers across the state.

With California now boasting over 1,100 breweries across the state, there’s more beer being brewed locally now than ever before and more local options for beer enthusiasts at the city-wide, country-wide, regional, and state-wide levels.

After taking a hiatus in 2020, the second-year competition saw 1,266 beers from 194 breweries entered into 60 categories, plus awards for Brewers Guild of the Year, Brewery of the Year and Best in Show. No walk in the park!

Here’s a list of the LA brewery winners from the 2021 California Craft Brewers Cup:

Congratulations to ALL the winners and participating breweries. While winning a medal is a great accomplishment, it is by no means a prerequisite for brewing great beer. It just goes to show how robust the California craft brewing community is now, and how far Los Angeles has come as a compelling craft beer destination.

So while you’re out there drinking some of these 2021 CCBC award-winning beers around Los Angeles, you should also be purchasing beers from the dozens of other awesome LA breweries out there as well.
